Cat skull

Simple sketch of a cat skull with the negative space filled with charcoal, parchment paper.
Had to Photoshop out the wrinkles because my cat knocked it off my desk and I stepped on it because it was on the floor >:/

Castaway lemur

A castaway lemur, looking out over the seas in the direction of a home he may never see again.
A messy etch in copper, coloured digitally.

Ignore the glaring anatomical mistakes, it's really hard to draw on copper without preliminary sketches first. >_>
It's mostly an experiment.

Equine skull - trinity

The same equine skull, three times in different styles;

- Harsh black inks.
- Inked lines with lineweight but no blacks.
- Inked shadows and pencil texture negative space.

Bird skull

Bird skull, obviously (I hope), I think it's a blackbird or a starling but it's hard to tell. And hard to capture the frailty of a bird skull. A short series with different techniques;
- sketched
- a single, continuous link in ink
- sketched and shaded
- outline and background filled with a crosshatch pattern in ink

Obey

Parody of Shepard Fairy's work. I'm not a fan, he appropriates a bit too much for my tastes.
Either way, in this house there's only one entity we obey. Modeled after one of my rabbits, Cicely.
Just give her the food and you'll be alright.

First screenprinting effort and lemme tell you, a lot can go wrong when screenprinting! I did some stupid shit, like not turning on the table for the first batch, dur :/
I will shamefully admit that even though this one came out the best in the lot, I still had to tweak it after scanning. But you learn from your mistakes and I learned a lot. I'll do better next time.
